From waste to green energy
With methanation, gasification and biomass boilers, waste – such as agricultural and plastic waste, wood or sewage sludge – can be converted into green energy (electricity, hydrogen) or biofuels (bioGNV or bioethane), which can be injected into the grid system.
The use of biomass is one of the key options for controlling use of non-renewable resources and for fighting climate change.
SCE and its specialist subsidiary S3D work closely together, combining their skills and experience to help you develop and successfully deliver your biomass recovery project.
In these different waste-to-energy fields, we can provide a range of expertise to successfully deliver your projects, from feasibility to commissioning of facilities, including regulatory studies, the return of biomass to the soil (digestates) and design and work supervision.
