Seeking alternative energy sources for cities and regions
Cities and regions, however different, are rich in energy resources. Whether fossil or renewable, we can work with you to identify and implement a
green and sustainable strategy for energy resource use.
Greater energy efficiency is achieved first by optimising needs and supporting users to adopt
sustainable, fuel-efficient practices. We then identify the energy-generating
facilities available locally (e.g. heating network, industry producing waste heat), and finally we explore the
natural power sources that can be used (biomass, waste, geothermal, solar, wood, wind and hydraulic power). Our goal is to
make better use of existing sources and those provided by nature, before seeking additional energy resources.
We can help you to make the best choice among the many
financial and legal instruments available to facilitate energy transition, and work with you to implement certified energy efficiency programmes (HQE, BREEAM, E+/C-).
Our teams work with economic and political stakeholders in a
hands-on and concerted fashion, to define and implement their energy strategies:
- Energy Master Plan - Feasibility study
- Long-term strategic property plan
- Energy potential study - energy supply study
