Managing erosion and flood risks
Recent severe storms in France had a severe impact on people and have led to the emergence of several
submersion protection projects. The regions affected by this risk have been working to integrate the risks of marine submersion more effectively.
With our expertise in
embankment and port structures (civil engineering, geotechnical engineering and hydraulics regulations), we work with you to
protect coastal areas:
- Geotechnical works for flood and coastal erosion protection
- Civil engineering works for flood protection
- Mobile protection systems.
We are accredited for the engineering of Dams and dykes and can cover all your project needs:
diagnostic and technical reviews, preliminary studies, regulatory studies (including hazard studies),
design and works supervision, and construction design/drawings.We mobilise our experts in
marine structures, aquatic environments and flood risk prevention, as required by the type of structure to be reinforced or built. Where necessary, these experts can rely on the technical expertise of CREOCEAN, (Keran Group) for
hydraulic modelling and environmental assessment.
Coastal zones are often popular tourist areas and home to vulnerable natural sites. SCE and its
in-house urban and landscape design agency Ateliers UP+ mobilise their respective expertise to ensure good integration of
protection structures in existing sites with a strict application of the "
avoid, reduce and compensate" principle.
